The Parramore Education and Innovation District (PEID) was formally established in 2019 to assure that residents of downtown Orlando, Florida, neighborhoods have equitable access to quality education, and to the tools and processes for using education to advance economic mobility. PEID was envisioned as a generation’s long effort, and we work towards progress through: Innovation, Partnership, and Evidence.

  • The calm room is designed based on the four zones of regulation curriculum, which is approved by the district. I selected this curriculum because during my first year as a teacher, I noticed that a lot of my students didn’t know how to articulate what they were feeling.

  • On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, the Parramore Education & Innovation District celebrated three years of collaboration working toward the shared vision that everyone in Parramore will have the opportunity to earn a post-secondary credential.

  • On June 23, 2021, PEID partnered with UCF Downtown and Valencia College Downtown to host 50 incoming 9th grade students in the ELEVATE Orlando program and from OCPS ACE K-8 School for a UCF/Valencia Downtown campus tour.
