PEID sponsored and participated in a week-long training with the Peace and Justice Institute. The training is designed to provide community partners with an opportunity rarely taken to focus on increasing our capacity to positively impact our community and beyond.

The IB Programme is very student-based, interactive, and research-driven, with a strong curriculum. The rigorous coursework and activities was extremely challenging. We push through it to seek greatness. It is enriching to complete assignments and research concepts that interest me.

The calm room was established to assist and help students regulate their feelings.

All Pro Dad, OCPS ACE Chapter is a program that encourages dads to be the best fathers they can be. All Pro Dad creates space for dads to have intentional and purposeful conversations with their children, and fellowship with other fathers. Using the All Pro Dad curriculum and literacy, dads that are a part of All Pro Dad receive practical fatherhood tips to take home, literature that can be used as tools to encourage closeness, and fatherhood friendships!

The best thing we can do to ensure that children grow up reading well and loving to read is to read to them every day. The time spent reading together creates a special bond.

On Wednesday, February 1, 2023, the Orlando Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. hosted their annual career fair for students at the UCF Valencia College Downtown Orlando Campus. Students had the opportunity to speak about various career options, their career paths, and the most effective ways to obtain certain career goals. Onsite professionals in various fields were present and excited to meet every student who were in attendance! We spoke with Renee Green, chair of the scholarship committee for the Orlando Alumnae Chapter and the director of The Plug, about the career fair and the goals behind hosting the event.

Through the National Achievers Society, students and their families find themselves engaged in monthly enrichment activities, college campus visits, brain bowl competitions, academic skills workshop, leadership development, community service projects and career exploration modules to name a few.

On Friday, May 20, 2022, the Parramore Education & Innovation District hosted the first STEM Discovery Day on the UCF/Valencia Downtown campus.

On Wednesday, May 18, 2022, the Parramore Education & Innovation District celebrated three years of collaboration working toward the shared vision that everyone in Parramore will have the opportunity to earn a post-secondary credential.
